Part of Steve's job is that he has to entertain customers. Sometimes I go and sometimes I don't. Tonight he went to the Jazz game and I got to hang out with the girls. We had Riley and Ellie over for a GNO. These girls play so well together and let me tell you they can sing. We sang along to Hannah Montana and High School Musical while dining on Mac & Cheese, Pizza, and Shirley Temples.

A little High School Muscial anyone...
Salem loves to sing and dance along to High School Musical. I hope she never loses the confidence she has in herself! There are so many things we wish for as parents but to have a confident child who believes in herself is one of my greatest wishes!!

Eat your heart out Hannah Montana
These are the kinds of things that make being a parent worth it...Salem's little voice always put a smile on my face. She loves to sing, and who knows with the right training she just might make the big time one day!

A Lazy Sunday
Every kid loves it and every mom hates it. I have found the greatest play dough recipe. It’s quick and simple to make and provides hours of fun!
1 cup flour
¼ cup salt
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 envelope kool aid (unsweetened package, this will determine color and scent)
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Mix dry ingredients in a medium saucepan. Stir in water and oil. Stir over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until mixture forms a ball. Remove to a floured surface and knead for about 1 minute. Be careful it will be hot, and then enjoy!

Salem B.
For those of you who have actually listened to my play list I figured I owed some kind of explanation. First off yes I love Stevie Nicks, it drives everyone crazy but I just love her. But Salem loves Hannah Montana and High School Musical. In fact she has her future already planned. She is going to be a Rock star when she is 15. And then the President of the United States when she is 18. The Rock star is easy to see, but why the President you ask. Well according to her, they get to live in a really cool house, and then she can be on the quarter. They have been learning about money in school. She told us the other day that Thomas Jefferson is on the nickel, and his house Monticello is on the back. Steve and I just looked at each other with amazement. It's pretty sad when your five year old knows more than you do!
So that leads into the the whole mother thing. I'm gonna best honest there are days I really enjoy being a mom and then there are days when I know why animals eat their young. Salem is at a really fun age, she is like a little adult and we have really enjoyed doing fun stuff with her. Her diva attitude as of late could go!
