Leaving Las Vegas.....

Our holiday weekend was spent in Las Vegas, we had one last hurrah there before Steve's sister Amie moves to Pennsylvania. I love Amie like one of my sister's I am going to miss her but I guess it's a good excuse to travel across the country to see her.

Amie and Ike at Lucille's...eatin some good southern food.

Poor Ella wasn't feeling well, and lucky me got to give her sugar. Sugar is our term for hugs and loves. Another thing I am going to miss is this little girl, she is the sweetest thing since chocolate.

Amie suggested that I bring my nephews along to play with her boys. Max and Mason had never been to Vegas so they were so excited to come along. I think they were a little shocked at what a long drive it is. But once we were there they spent the next four days swimming and having a blast.

Yet another thing to miss...their incredible backyard and pool.

We never go down to the strip but decided since the boys have never been we might as well...So we went to Coke World and M&M World.

After that is was back to the pool and back yard to blow some killer bubbles.

Thanks for a great weekend, we are gonna miss you guys!

Wow, what a fun trip to Vegas! I'd miss that pool too! Pennsylvania will be a fun place to visit though, it's beautiful there!

Your thoughts about "raising a daughter"... You know, the things you said were really interesting. I totally agree with you and now wonder if I will be a hypocrite.. I never even considered how my surgery would affect my daughters... I guess at the time I never thought I'd have kids so it didn't even phase me.
Society has totally had such a profound effect on the image of a woman. If I never would've made the mistakes I made, or dated who I dated I would've never had it done.... Not that I'm blaming others for my choice..... But still. You're right, how do I tell my daughter to love herself no matter what when for a period of time I didn't love myself enough to look past my imperfections?

I would love to go with you to visit miss Amie. Anytime.. YOu say when..

Next I wanted to comment to Ginger. Ginger your daughter will see what a good person you are irregardless of anything. Everyone does thing they wished that they hadn't done and you can explain that to her.

I am dying for a road trip. I would love to have a relative living someplace fun to visit. Mason and Max look so old! What cute little boys.
